ABSTRACTS
The BAF committee is granting a limited number of awards for early career researchers with interesting talk proposals, so do not hesitate to submit an abstract for a talk (300 words max.)!

If you would like to be considered for an award, please attach to your abstract a short paragraph (100 words max.) summarising your financial situation at this stage of your career.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

We welcome submissions for...

a) Talks:
  • 10 minutes maximum (5 minutes discussion)
  • of academic standard but aimed at a non-specialist audience
  • concise and communicative
  • in English
You are encouraged to seize this opportunity to bring forward new ideas/projects (big or small) and bounce them off specialists from other fields. The talks will be vidcasted.

b) Book presentations:
  • Newly published (co-) authors are invited to present their books during the BAF through 5 minutes "book sessions" that take place during the coffee breaks (think "poster session" but with books).
Abstracts for talks and book presentations should be sent to baf.infos@gmail.com in Word format (1-sided single page, A4).

Deadline for submitting abstracts: 15 April 2017, midnight GMT +01:00.
Submitting an abstract does not confirm your attendance. To confirm your attendance you must register (before 1 April 2016).
